Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Help with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Accurately document resident care and communicate observations to nurses and supervisors
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
Support resident social and emotional needs through respectful, patient interaction

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an approved CNA training program
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts and collaborating with a care team
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and personal hygiene assistance
Basic monitoring of vital signs and reporting clinical changes
Infection control and standard safety precautions
Accurate charting and documentation practices
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Teamwork, communication, and a resident-centered mindset
