Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and ensure dietary needs are followed
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with the care team and families

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or state-recognized nursing assistant credential
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
Reliable, patient-focused, and able to perform physical aspects of the role

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong resident-centered care skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of vital signs, ADLs, and skin integrity
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Clear communication and teamwork skills
Basic electronic charting or EMR experience is a plus
