Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility and assist with transfers and positioning
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or ability to obtain quickly
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques
Skilled in measuring and documenting vital signs and patient observations
Familiarity with infection control standards and safety best practices
Ability to follow care plans and accurately record care in charts or electronic systems
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs in a busy environment
