Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting with compassion and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any concerning changes to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility and transfers using safe body mechanics and assistive devices
• Provide basic care and comfort measures while maintaining patient dignity and privacy
• Document care activities clearly and timely in the patient record to support continuity of care
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to advocate for the patient
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced care team
• Demonstrated compassion, strong communication skills, and reliability

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and patient safety practices
• Skill in taking vital signs and observing changes in patient condition
• Ability to assist with mobility and safe transfer techniques
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and basic charting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide patient-centered care
