Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening), day

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and families
Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for each resident
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices as needed

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active state CNA registration or licensure for Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfort working independently in per diem shifts and as part of a team
Friendly, patient-focused attitude with reliable attendance and strong communication skills

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic patient care
Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Basic knowledge of mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
