Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Observe, document, and communicate resident condition and care provided
- Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding for residents who need help
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic clinical tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
- Able to pass any required background checks and health screenings
- Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but enthusiastic learners are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of resident safety, infection control, and privacy standards
- Skill in safe transfer and positioning techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and nursing directions accurately
