Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care while preserving patient dignity
• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Help maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
• Be an engaged team member who contributes to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania or applicable state) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shifts and able to work varied per-diem days
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed

Education

• CNA certification (state required)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and basic nursing procedures
• Vital signs measurement and basic documentation
• Infection control and safe handling techniques
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
• Empathy, patience, and a focus on patient dignity
