Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days (per diem), 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices
Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Respect patient dignity and communicate clearly with patients and families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to variable per-diem schedules
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an approved CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and resident care techniques
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Good communication and teamwork skills
