Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary (Per Diem), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with the care team to help implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active CNA listing or eligibility to be listed in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in resident care techniques and ADL assistance
Working knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
Time management and teamwork in fast-paced care settings
Comfortable with lifting and mobility assistance, using proper body mechanics
