Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility using proper techniques
Document care and patient observations clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (active in Virginia or eligible to transfer)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification recommended
Compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Proficient in measuring and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices
Familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
