Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs
Accurately document care and observations in patient records
Support mobility and safe transfer techniques, promoting patient independence
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, residents, and families
Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
Contribute to a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico) required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable availability for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Comfortable performing physical aspects of care and safe patient handling
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control best practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork mindset and the ability to follow care plans
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
