Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report changes in condition
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves resident dignity
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team to support coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care promptly and help implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with physical demands of patient care including lifting and standing
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program and state CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Good charting and documentation practices
Compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills
