Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, honoring dignity and preferences
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting)
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Observe and report changes in condition to nursing leadership in a timely way
• Document care accurately and completely, maintaining resident records and care plans
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and colleagues
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Support mealtime assistance and nutritional needs as part of daily care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or T-CNA certification
• Comfortable and experienced working 12+ hour night shifts
• Ability to work the scheduled days: Monday, Thursday, Friday evenings/nights
• Willingness to complete any facility-required onboarding (orientation, background check, drug screen)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic infection control practices and safety procedures
• Clear, accurate documentation and observation reporting
• Comfort with bedside tasks and safe patient handling
• Good communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
