Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality radiographic imaging for Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Perform imaging exams safely and accurately while adhering to radiation safety and facility protocols
• Collaborate with ED physicians, nurses, and care teams to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; escalate issues to engineering/biomed as needed
• Document exams, findings, and patient interactions clearly in the electronic medical record
• Complete required Trinity skills checklists and participate in specialty-specific competency testing
• Ensure patient comfort, identification, and safety practices—especially during evening/night hours
• Support a culture of teamwork, timely communication, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license/certification with verification required (state of Ohio credential expected)
• BLS certification (required)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (required)
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, fit test, and required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement)
• Comfortable and experienced supporting ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on evening/night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in general radiography and patient positioning for ED and inpatient populations
• Familiarity with PACS/Imaging systems and accurate electronic documentation
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
• Ability to prioritize urgent studies and work efficiently during high-acuity periods
• Teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams
• Adaptability to a 3-week rotating evening/night schedule
