Location: Watertown, NY

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift, 5x8s (five 8-hour day shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $74.8 - $52.36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile field and surgical instruments with precision
Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently
Perform instrument counts and accurate documentation to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with the perioperative team to keep the operating room running smoothly
Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

CST Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) — required
Demonstrated ability to work a 5x8 day schedule
Prior experience in an operating room setting preferred if available
Strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Familiarity with common surgical procedures and OR workflows
Excellent attention to detail for counts and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and support the surgical team under pressure
