Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams using Siemens equipment for trauma and routine cases
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and provide real-time imaging support during procedures
• Provide imaging in the Operating Room and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure excellent intraoperative imaging
• Triage and prioritize imaging needs independently in a busy Level 3 Trauma center
• Maintain accurate patient records, follow radiation safety protocols, and ensure image quality
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the care team to facilitate efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Proven X-ray experience with Siemens equipment (required)
• Fluoroscopy experience (required)
• Operating Room imaging experience (required)
• Experience working in a Level 3 Trauma center and handling trauma imaging
• Ability to work independently and make solid clinical decisions when alone
• Current state radiologic technologist license and ARRT certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Willingness to cover variable shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens radiography systems and portable imaging
• Strong understanding of fluoroscopy techniques and safety measures
• Operating Room imaging workflows and sterile environment protocols
• Trauma imaging protocols and rapid exam execution
• PACS/DICOM image management and basic troubleshooting
• Radiation safety principles (ALARA) and quality control practices
• Excellent patient positioning, communication, and teamwork skills
