Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams across a range of modalities including Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head & Neck, Spine, and Vascular CTA
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and accurately, following facility protocols
• Execute specialized studies such as brain perfusion and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) with precision
• Provide compassionate patient care in Adult Acute, Emergency Department, and ICU settings
• Chart thoroughly and efficiently in Epic to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, and interdisciplinary teams—your imaging will help drive critical decisions
• Assist with special procedures when needed (aspirations, biopsies, drainage) and help start peripheral IVs when required
• Maintain imaging equipment, PACS workflows, and image quality standards to support a busy department and stroke center

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT)
• Washington state license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department experience noted); ICU and Pediatrics experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens CT equipment and PACS
• First-time travel clinicians are welcome
• Local residents with permanent residence within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging across Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head & Neck, Spine, MSK, and Vascular CTA
• Contrast preparation and administration, including safety and monitoring
• Brain perfusion techniques and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• PACS image management and post-processing best practices
• Patient care in Adult Acute, ED, and ICU settings with stroke center workflows
• Assisting with aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures, and starting peripheral IVs
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging systems
