Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for a range of diagnoses
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
- Instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs and self-management strategies
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans to achieve the best outcomes
- Collaborate with the rehab team and other departments to coordinate care and shorten patient wait times
- Provide patient-centered education to enhance adherence and long-term recovery
- Maintain professional standards, certifications, and compliance with clinic policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Colorado PT licensure through DORA or eligibility via the PT Compact
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience, with 3-5 years preferred
- Outpatient rehabilitation experience and comfort treating a variety of diagnoses
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Expertise in strengthening, ROM improvement, balance and safety training
- Experience developing and teaching effective home exercise programs
- Comfort managing a varied outpatient caseload and prioritizing patient flow
- Strong patient and caregiver education skills and clear documentation habits
