Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams with professional attention to image quality and patient comfort
- Position patients accurately and safely while following radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with radiology team members and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient throughput
- Maintain imaging equipment cleanliness and report any issues promptly
- Complete required Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing to demonstrate proficiency
- Document exams and patient interactions thoroughly and clearly in the medical record
- Adhere to infection control, immunization, and facility safety requirements
Qualifications
- Certification/education in Radiography or equivalent imaging credential; license/certificate verification required
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Current immunizations and health requirements as listed: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA and physical/health statement
- Successful completion of Trinity 10 panel drug screen and color vision screening
- Willingness to complete respirator evaluation and fit test as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and X-ray imaging principles
- Understanding of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and facility protocols
- Competence in performing required Trinity competency testing and demonstrating specialty skills
- Strong patient care and communication skills to support a positive patient experience
- Attention to detail for documentation, image quality checks, and equipment care
