Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to geriatric patients and support their comfort
- Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition, communicating findings to the care team
- Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Document care activities accurately and timely in facility records
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to follow care plans and enhance resident outcomes
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required) — you know your way around geriatric care
- Experience working with older adults preferred, but caring attitude and willingness to learn count for a lot
- Ability to work per diem shifts and adapt to variable schedules
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to pass background check and any facility-required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA program (or state-approved equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and resident-centered approaches
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Basic vital signs measurement and observational skills
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Compassionate communication with residents and families
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
