Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support residents with mobility and safe transfers while promoting independence
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in condition accurately
- Assist the care team with mealtime, feeding, and nutrition support
- Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Recent experience in long-term care or eldercare preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain promptly
- Valid state-required immunizations and ability to pass background checks
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Good documentation habits and basic computer/EHR familiarity
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when working with older adults
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the clinical team
