Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality maternal-fetal ultrasound exams including fetal anatomical surveys
• Conduct Doppler studies and nuchal translucency screening with precision
• Assist with image-guided procedures such as amniocentesis when required
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE/PACS experience helpful)
• Document findings accurately in Epic and communicate results to the care team
• Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and high-risk OB teams to inform care
• Practice and promote isolation precautions and patient safety at all times

Qualifications

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification (required)
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year Maternal-Fetal/OB ultrasound experience
• Comfortable performing transvaginal scans, fetal echo screening, and Doppler studies
• Will accept first-time travel technologists
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this travel role

Knowledge & Skills

• OB/GYN ultrasound and maternal-fetal medicine fundamentals
• Fetal anatomical survey, growth measurements, and fetal echo recognition
• Doppler studies including umbilical cord and placental assessments
• Amniocentesis assistance and procedural support
• Transvaginal scanning and first–third trimester assessment
• Proficiency with Epic, GE equipment, and PACS image systems
• Strong infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE practices
• Clear clinical documentation and effective interdisciplinary communication
