Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing and compassionate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient condition, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow facility policies and protocols
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and basic patient assessments
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and professional for per diem shift coverage
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing knowledge in medical-surgical care
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Competence with electronic charting and documentation
- Patient-centered communication and working knowledge of infection control
- Basic skills in wound care, IV monitoring, and vital sign assessment
