Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality bedside nursing and compassionate patient care
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Monitor patient condition, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow facility policies and protocols

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and basic patient assessments
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Reliable, punctual, and professional for per diem shift coverage

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing knowledge in medical-surgical care
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Competence with electronic charting and documentation
Patient-centered communication and working knowledge of infection control
Basic skills in wound care, IV monitoring, and vital sign assessment
