Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Document patient care and observations accurately in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans and promote positive outcomes

Qualifications

Current LPN license in the state of practice (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with medication administration, IV care as applicable, and basic wound care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Prior experience in long term care or acute care is a plus but not mandatory

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and safety practices
Patient documentation and electronic health record familiarity
Infection control and standard precautions
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Empathy, clear communication, and teamwork
