Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to assigned patients and their families
- Administer medications and treatments per care plans and facility policies
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care
- Assist with procedures, wound care, and activities of daily living as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (New Hampshire or compact as applicable)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or vocational nursing diploma/certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and charting best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns promptly
