Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care by assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition, escalating changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene while promoting independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Support a clean, comfortable environment by assisting with room upkeep and turnover tasks

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH credentials preferred
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) to ensure resident safety
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar clinical settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed LNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe resident handling
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety standards
• Comfortable with clear, concise charting and handoff communication
• Team-oriented mindset with reliable time management and adaptability
