Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control practices
Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and family members
Support residents’ emotional well-being through respectful, person-centered interactions

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Local candidates only (Scarborough area) as noted in the assignment details
Ability to work scheduled days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM
Flexible, team-oriented attitude and a caring approach to resident needs

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program (implied by CNA credential)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and basic nursing support
Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff
Knowledge of safe transfer and mobility techniques
Awareness of infection prevention and resident safety practices
Reliable documentation and attention to detail
