Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess outpatient patients to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to restore function and reduce pain
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and recovery expectations
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and safety standards
- Meet established productivity and performance expectations while providing high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Physical Therapy license (required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) for Healthcare Providers (required)
- Experience in outpatient (OP) physical therapy preferred
- Traveler experience is a plus and helps with quick onboarding
- Ability to start quickly (position marked as Quick Start)
- Strong communication skills and professional clinical judgment
- Willingness to meet regional performance expectations and standards
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in outpatient therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Proficient with therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and patient education
- Comfortable with documentation and basic EMR workflows
- Knowledge of current evidence-based PT practices and safety protocols
- Ability to adapt treatments for a diverse outpatient population
