Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and outpatient infusions safely and compassionately
- Assess and manage ports, start and maintain IV access, and operate infusion pumps
- Monitor patients for treatment response and side effects; recognize and escalate abnormal lab values
- Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education on chemotherapy, body fluid handling, and safety precautions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including radiology and therapy services
- Maintain radiation safety and isolation precautions when applicable
- Float between outpatient clinics as needed, bringing flexibility and a team-player attitude
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ONS/OCN chemotherapy certification required (ONS chemo-certified nurse preferred)
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- At least 2 years of chemotherapy/infusion experience; 3 years RN experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric oncology patients
- Experience managing ports, infusion pumps, and complex IV therapy
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; graduation from an accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and body fluid handling
- Infusion therapy best practices and infusion pump management
- Port care and access management
- Proficient charting in EPIC
- Ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
- Isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety awareness
- Strong patient education and symptom management skills
- Ability to float across outpatient infusion clinic settings
