Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate bedside nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess and document resident condition, responding quickly to changes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
- Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with families and team members
Qualifications
- Active MA LPN license or MA RN license in good standing
- Recent experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
Education
- LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Wound care and basic restorative nursing techniques
- Effective communication with residents, families, and care team
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
- Basic EMR charting and electronic documentation familiarity
