Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate bedside nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess and document resident condition, responding quickly to changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with families and team members

Qualifications

Active MA LPN license or MA RN license in good standing
Recent experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Wound care and basic restorative nursing techniques
Effective communication with residents, families, and care team
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Basic EMR charting and electronic documentation familiarity
