Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
Document care activities clearly and timely in the resident chart/EMR
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Participate in shift handoffs and communicate vital information to the next caregiver

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working in long-term care/rehabilitation environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-focused mindset
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
Wound care and ADL support in a rehab/long-term care setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records or willingness to learn
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Professional, compassionate resident and family communication
