Location: Andover, MA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days (schedule varies), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care at Stern Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Perform routine assessments and promptly report changes in condition
- Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility assistance
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and records
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (or RN license if applying as an RN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program for LPN
- For RN applicants: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (as applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic wound care and dressing changes
- Resident assessment and care planning
- Assistance with ADLs and safe patient transfer techniques
- Comfortable with electronic charting and clear clinical documentation
- Good observational skills and attention to detail
