Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary (per diem), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs
Collaborate with therapists and the interdisciplinary team to support rehab goals
Document patient care and progress clearly in the medical record
Assist with mobility, activities of daily living, and restorative nursing
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Educate residents and families to promote recovery and independence

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license as applicable to role
Previous experience or interest in rehabilitation nursing preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN as appropriate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate documentation
Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Basic wound care and restorative nursing techniques
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Infection control standards and workplace safety
Collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary teams
