Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift (days may vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during the night shift
Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions and changes
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations with professionalism
Maintain thorough, timely documentation to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Active LPN license (position open to LPNs; RN candidates may also be considered depending on role)
Recent experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings a plus
Ability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift reliably
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred

Education

LPN diploma or certificate required (RN education applicable if applying as RN)

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with medication administration and accurate charting
Skilled at resident assessments, vital signs, and care reporting
Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation nursing practices
Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm approach in emergencies
Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
