Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday (as scheduled), 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC, Part-time nights with every other weekend availability

Hours per Week: 16

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document patient care, changes, and handoffs clearly and timely
Float to other units as needed to maintain safe staffing and continuity of care
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Support new staff and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Pennsylvania
Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM night shifts and provide every other weekend coverage
Comfort and flexibility to float to other areas as operational needs require
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and solid documentation skills
Dependable, patient-focused, and able to work collaboratively with a diverse team

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
Medication administration and safe handling practices
Clear clinical documentation and effective handoff communication
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork, adaptability, and a calm approach to unexpected situations
