Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
- Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document patient care, changes, and handoffs clearly and timely
- Float to other units as needed to maintain safe staffing and continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Support new staff and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Pennsylvania
- Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM night shifts and provide every other weekend coverage
- Comfort and flexibility to float to other areas as operational needs require
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and solid documentation skills
- Dependable, patient-focused, and able to work collaboratively with a diverse team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
- Medication administration and safe handling practices
- Clear clinical documentation and effective handoff communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork, adaptability, and a calm approach to unexpected situations
