Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams on Siemens equipment, prioritizing patient safety and image clarity
- Execute cardiac and breast imaging protocols when applicable to capture diagnostic-quality studies
- Position patients, manage implants/contraindications, and provide compassionate patient care throughout the exam
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to optimize protocols and improve workflow
- Maintain accurate exam documentation, input images into PACS, and ensure compliance with ARRT standards
- Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate when needed to keep the schedule moving
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a similar setting
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory (please ensure this is on your profile)
- Cardiac and breast imaging experience is a strong plus
- Current basic life support (BLS) or equivalent as required by facility (if applicable)
- Ability to work nights and maintain high standards of patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems and typical pulse sequences
- Solid understanding of MRI safety, contraindications, and patient screening
- Familiarity with cardiac and breast imaging techniques and protocols
- Strong patient positioning, communication, and comfort skills
- Image post-processing and PACS workflow knowledge
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
