Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC; primary 12-hour night shifts with possible occasional weekends, holidays, and a fourth coverage night as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze patient information to tailor testing to individual needs
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep lab equipment to ensure accurate data
- Apply electrodes and sensors following published standards for reliable signals
- Perform polysomnographic data acquisition and monitor tracing quality in real time
- Conduct procedural protocols such as MSLT, MWT, PAP titration, parasomnia studies, and oxygen titration
- Fit and adjust PAP masks and implement therapeutic interventions for patient safety
- Document observations, sleep stages, and clinical events to support accurate scoring and interpretation
- Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events per center protocols and professional guidelines
- Provide age-specific care from pediatric to geriatric patients with compassion and professionalism
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and BRPT Standards of Conduct
Qualifications
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T) required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Successful completion of an accredited polysomnography program or AASM A-STEP with documented proficiency in required competencies
- Comfortable working night shifts and flexible to cover occasional weekends, holidays, or extra nights
- Experience with NOX software is helpful and preferred
- Able to perform equipment calibration, PAP mask fitting, and oxygen titration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document accurately
- Professionalism and adherence to BRPT Standards of Conduct
Education
- Completion of an accredited polysomnography program or AASM A-STEP certification and equivalent documented experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Polysomnographic data acquisition and scoring
- PAP mask fitting and positive airway pressure management
- MSLT and MWT procedural knowledge
- Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Applying electrodes and physiologic sensors with precision
- Patient assessment and monitoring across age groups
- Oxygen titration and therapeutic intervention techniques
- Familiarity with NOX software and AASM A-STEP protocols
- Strong documentation, observation, and communication skills
- Infection control and safety best practices
