Shift Type: Evening (Second) shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM — days of week not specified (schedule as assigned)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote dignity and independence
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor residents and accurately document observations, vital signs, and care given
- Communicate clearly with nurses, interdisciplinary team members, and families about resident needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Participate in shift handoffs and care planning to ensure continuity and quality of care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (as indicated in the job class)
- Completion of a recognized GNA training program or equivalent
- CPR/BCLS certification preferred
- Comfort with physical aspects of resident care and safe lifting practices
- Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
- Friendly, patient, and team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Available to work the evening (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) shift
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of resident care and ADLs
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Familiarity with electronic documentation or charting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when working with older adults
- Ability to follow care plans, routines, and facility policies
