Shift Type: Days: To be confirmed, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening / day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming) with dignity and compassion
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Help with meal assistance and feeding while monitoring dietary needs and preferences
- Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing staff
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care provided and resident observations
- Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, comfortable, and safe
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with residents and their families to enhance quality of life
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure person-centered care plans are followed
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the assigned shift
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Basic observational and vital-sign monitoring skills
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Basic charting and documentation practices
- Teamwork, time management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
