Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends (every other weekend off), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients during night shifts
- Assess, monitor and document patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues and support staff to coordinate care
- Accurately document care in the electronic health record and communicate handoffs
- Float to other departments as needed to support patient care and unit needs
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education to support smooth transitions
Qualifications
- Current Washington State nursing license or active multistate license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Completed 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Nursys demographic verification completed or able to complete
- Med/Surg nursing experience and comfort working night shifts
- Willingness to float and pick up extra shifts as needed
- Team-player attitude and strong bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid Med/Surg clinical knowledge and strong patient assessment skills
- Night shift experience and effective overnight triage abilities
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems (helpful)
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and time management
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the care team
