Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and perform thorough assessments of strength, range of motion, balance, and function
• Develop and implement individualized outpatient treatment plans to improve safety and independence
• Deliver hands-on skilled therapy and progressive therapeutic exercise to restore function
• Educate patients and caregivers on effective home exercise programs and self-management strategies
• Document patient progress clearly and collaborate with the rehab team to optimize care and reduce wait times
• Provide excellent patient-centered care across a variety of diagnoses in an outpatient setting

Qualifications

• Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or PT Compact valid for Colorado
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• BLS through the American Heart Association (current)
• Current season flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted Oct 1 through Apr 1)
• At least two years of PT experience required; 3–5 years outpatient PT experience preferred
• Resume, skills sheet, proof of Colorado PT license or compact, BLS card, and proof of current flu vaccine required for submission

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and clinical reasoning for outpatient diagnoses
• Treatment planning and implementation tailored to functional goals
• Strength assessment and progressive strengthening techniques
• Range of motion (ROM) assessment and mobility interventions
• Balance training and fall prevention strategies
• Home exercise program education and caregiver training
• Experience in outpatient rehab workflows and documentation
