Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients across a range of outpatient diagnoses to determine functional deficits and therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
• Provide skilled strength, ROM, and balance training using evidence-based interventions
• Teach and coach patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to maximize recovery between visits
• Document clinical findings, progress, and discharge plans in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and shorten patient wait times
• Manage a productive caseload while maintaining high standards of patient education and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
• Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or PT Compact eligibility for Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccine required (proof needed)
• Please submit resume, skills sheet, BLS - AHA, Colorado PT license or compact verification, and proof of flu vaccine

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation and development of treatment plans
• Proficient with strength, ROM, and balance training techniques
• Experienced in patient and caregiver education and coaching
• Able to design and instruct effective home exercise programs
• Good documentation, time management, and caseload management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork within an outpatient rehab setting
