Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound imaging for physician interpretation
• Assess and address age-specific patient needs across the lifespan to achieve desired clinical outcomes
• Adapt imaging and patient care approaches based on patients’ nonverbal cues, psychosocial needs, and physical limitations
• Follow established technical standards and safety protocols under the supervision of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation and a current skills checklist relevant to echocardiography
• Communicate findings and collaborate with the care team to support excellent patient care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Echo/Cardiac experience (required)
• Active ARDMS / RDCS certification (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (required)
• Traveler must have their own reliable vehicle — this is a small community without public transport (required)
• Traveler must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers will not be considered)
• Include permanent address and any requested time off (RTO) in your profile at submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound image acquisition
• Strong patient assessment skills and age-specific care knowledge
• Proficiency with sonography equipment, positioning, and image optimization
• Ability to follow technical standards and work under supervisory protocols
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and credential maintenance
