Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound imaging for physician interpretation
- Assess and address age-specific patient needs across the lifespan to achieve desired clinical outcomes
- Adapt imaging and patient care approaches based on patients’ nonverbal cues, psychosocial needs, and physical limitations
- Follow established technical standards and safety protocols under the supervision of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation and a current skills checklist relevant to echocardiography
- Communicate findings and collaborate with the care team to support excellent patient care
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Echo/Cardiac experience (required)
- Active ARDMS / RDCS certification (required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (required)
- Traveler must have their own reliable vehicle — this is a small community without public transport (required)
- Traveler must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers will not be considered)

Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound image acquisition
- Strong patient assessment skills and age-specific care knowledge
- Proficiency with sonography equipment, positioning, and image optimization
- Ability to follow technical standards and work under supervisory protocols
- Clear communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and credential maintenance
