Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality CT images and compile accurate reports for provider review
• Perform CT procedures common to Oaklawn Hospital with consistent attention to protocol
• Operate CT scanners, PACS and tele-radiology webserver equipment confidently
• Document exams and patient interactions in Cerner EMR thoroughly and promptly
• Order and manage departmental storeroom supplies to support smooth operations
• Follow safety and infection control practices, including safe patient lifting and transfer techniques
• Collaborate positively with colleagues and maintain an outward mindset that helps others succeed

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT (required) — please have documentation ready
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC (required) — please have documentation ready
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on CT experience (required)
• Recent travel experience (required) — you know the rhythm of travel assignments
• Comfortable using PACS, tele-radiology equipment, and Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform CT procedures and troubleshoot basic scanner issues
• Strong skills in image preparation and report generation
• Experience operating PACS and managing tele-radiology workflows
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR for documenting exams and communicating results
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Inventory awareness and ability to order and track supplies
• Team-oriented communication and an outward mindset focused on helping others
