Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct and indirect nursing care to post-acute and long-term residents
- Administer IV therapy and perform wound care with attention to best practices
- Conduct geriatric assessments and develop tailored care plans
- Support residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s using verbal and non-verbal techniques
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams for patients recovering from surgery, stroke, and other short-term needs
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff to promote a therapeutic environment
- Float to other units as needed to ensure continuous, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active State of Maine RN license or Compact RN license required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
- 1-3 years of RN experience preferred, ideally in long-term care or post-acute settings
- Experience with IV therapy, wound care, geriatric assessment, and dementia care is a strong plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work night shift hours and flexibility to cover varying schedules and float between units
