Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents/patients on your shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Perform timely assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow individualized care plans
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and safety while promoting independence when possible
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (acceptable license type: LPN or RN)
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (for RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound clinical judgment and basic assessment skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Infection control and safety practices
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
- Teamwork and clear, concise communication with patients and staff
