Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift); On-call rotation: Weekday call 4:00 PM - 7:30 AM (twice a week during 2-week blocks each month) and Weekend call Friday 4:00 PM - Monday 7:30 AM (1 weekend per month). Every third weekend coverage required. Shift type: day_night
Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures by scrubbing and circulating to maintain a sterile field
- Prepare procedure rooms and specialty equipment (IVUS, iFR, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Impella, IABP, etc.) to ensure smooth, timely cases
- Perform telemetry monitoring and assist with EKG lead placement as needed
- Collaborate on-call with a three-person team (minimum one RN) to respond to STEMIs and urgent IR/cardiology cases within established callback times
- Follow departmental protocols and safety standards, ensuring patient safety and high quality peri-procedural care
- Participate in unit training and orientation (including dimensions training) and start on-unit Mondays until training completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (IR-focused role: ~90% IR)
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS (BCLS) and ARRT or RCIS
- Proven ability to scrub and circulate in IR/Cath Lab settings and work with telemetry
- Comfort working in a fast-paced on-call environment and responding to urgent/emergent cases
- Preferred: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with medical experience, and EP device/implant experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency maintaining a sterile field and operating as scrub and room circulator during vascular, cardiac and IR procedures
- Familiarity with advanced IR and cardiology equipment: Philips iFR/IVUS, GE MAC Lab, Canon/GE labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy, Bovi system, radiofrequency ablation and venous closure units
- Telemetry monitoring and EKG lead placement skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow complex procedural workflows
- Strong situational awareness and rapid, calm response during STEMIs and other emergent events
