Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not specified in posting)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, prioritizing dignity and comfort
- Communicate changes in resident status to nursing staff and document care thoroughly
- Support a calm, respectful environment and foster positive resident interactions
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to maintain safety
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) — current and in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Comfortable working the night shift and providing hands-on resident care
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug screen, and health screenings
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident mobility
- Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Understanding of infection prevention and resident safety practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate approach to resident-centered care and dementia support
- Basic electronic charting or paper charting familiarity
