Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy assessments to identify developmental needs and functional strengths
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care focused on meaningful goals for children and adolescents
• Deliver hands-on interventions for sensory, motor, feeding, visual-perceptual and ADL challenges
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to empower caregivers and support continuity of care
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to support continuity, billing and outcomes tracking
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including social services to coordinate holistic care
• Use evidence-based evaluation tools such as functional capacity and perceptual assessments to guide treatment
• Maintain professional certifications and practice within WA state licensure requirements

Qualifications

• Current WA OT license (pending applicants accepted)
• NBCOT certification required or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience (hospital outpatient preferred)
• Comfortable with 1:1 patient ratios in a pediatric outpatient setting
• Experience or willingness to work with a range of developmental diagnoses including autism, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities
• Proficiency with EPIC charting (preferred)
• Travel assignment experience preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered
