Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
- Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
- Perform routine quality assurance checks on equipment and report issues
- Complete required skills checklists and compliance tasks promptly
- Respond professionally and calmly in urgent or emergent imaging situations
Qualifications
- Current state radiologic technologist license or certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) required
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and license/certificate verification
- Ability to pass fit test, 10-panel drug screen and required immunizations
- Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical environments and collaborating with care teams
- Willingness to complete facility-specific onboarding and compliance requirements
Education
- Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging principles
- Proficiency operating X-ray and other imaging equipment safely
- Familiarity with infection control, radiation safety and patient handling
- Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
- Competence with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Attention to detail for quality assurance and regulatory compliance
